5:45am, cars are loaded and we're driving to the location. The shoot was a great sucess ("pretty good" as Raquel would put it). There were the occasional shouts of "model down" as we had to hike and scale rocks to get some shots, thankfully no injuries. Although there were fears that our models would cause a car crash and bike pile up as they posed in the street. Nonetheless we wrapped up early and a big thank you to Jeff our photographer and our models Lisa and Wendy. Stay tuned in to see the pictures on our website www.86gestalt.com which will be launched early next year.
Furniture Fabrics? Clothing Fabrics? Whats the difference? The only difference we found was that at the furniture showrooms there are free espresso machines and candy, much to Raquel's dissapointement - apparently they serve cookies in the showrooms in San Francisco.
Di and Bob had a trek through the thick brush and forests of LA National Park to find the perfect location for their shoot, it was on this journey that they learned to make themselves look twice their size in hopes of avoiding being eaten by the bears
Location: Diana's Dads air-con factory. Photographed our Spring 2007 line to put up on the website and blog. After a few hours of shooting our reward was no other than food, dim sum down the street.
